The GPL168001A, a 16-bit architecture
LCD controller product, carries the GENERALPLUS newest
16-bit microprocessor, µ’nSP (pronounced
as micro-n-SP) and also has LCD driver built-in. The
high processing speed assures the µ’nSP™
is capable of handling complex digital signal processes
easily and rapidly. The GPL168001A is applicable to
the areas of digital sound process and voice recognition.
In addition, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) capability
strengthens the GPL168001A to be used in variety of
visual applications. The memory capacity includes 4K-word
SRAM for system usage and 1920-word SRAM for LCD frame
buffer and 512K-word ROM. The GPL168001A is capable
to provide single-chip solution with built-in driver
which supports maximum resolution to 32x74. Besides
the built-in driver function, the common/segment could
be further extended with external drivers such as GPLD1080A
and GPLD1120A. Other features include 24 programmable
multi-functional I/Os, three 16-bit timers/counters,
32768Hz Real Time Clock, Low Voltage Reset/Detection,
five 12-bit ADC channels (one channel built-in MIC amplifier
with Auto Gain Controller) and many others.
