Generalplus Technology Reports 2012 Q1 Financial Results and 2011 Earnings Distribution

Date: 2012/4/25 Generalplus Technology Inc. (Taiex: 4952) today held board of directors’ meeting and acknowledged its 2012Q1 financial statements. Revenues and net loss of 2012Q1 were NT$480 million and NT$39 million, down 29.1% and 242.9%, respectively from the same period in 2011. Losses per share was NT dollar 0.36, a 228.6% decline from earnings per share of NT dollar 0.28 in 2011Q1, primarily due to traditional low season effect and slow economic recovery. Benefited from shipment of better product mix, gross margin of 2012Q1 largely lifted 2.8% to 34.1% from the same period in 2011 of 31.3%. Operating loss ratio and net loss ratio of 2012Q1 were 8.7% and 8.1%, respectively. The board of directors also proposed distribution of 2011 earnings which includes NT$1.5 cash dividends per share and NT$1.36 million as the remuneration for board of directors and supervisors. This proposal will be discussed and resolved at the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting scheduled at 9:00AM, June 6th at room 205 of Hsinchu Science Park Life Hub (No. 1, Industry E. Rd. Generalplus Technology Reports 2011 Financial Results

Generalplus Technology Inc. (Taiex: 4952) today held board of directors’ meeting and acknowledged its 2011 financial statements. Revenues and net income of 2011 were NT$3,264 million and NT$ 167 million, down 10.5% and 49.5%, respectively from the same period in 2010. Earnings per share was NT$1.68, a 51.6% decline from NT$3.47 in 2010, primarily due to unexpectedly accelerating global economic recession since the second half of year 2011.
