Generalplus Technology Inc. (Taiex: 4952) today (5/6) held Board of Directors’ meeting and acknowledged its 2026/Q1 consolidated financial statements. Revenues and net income of 2026/Q1 were NT$587 million and NT$55 million, increasing 11.5% and 18.9%, respectively from the same period of year 2025. Earnings per share of 2026/Q1 was NT$0.50, growing 19.0% from NT$0.42 of 2025/Q1, with gross profit ratio of 37.0%. The growth in 2026/Q1 was primarily driven by surging memory prices and tight supply, and thus customers generally adopted a preemptive ordering strategy to mitigate market volatility.
Generalplus Technology continues to deepen its Edge AI layout and will participate in "AI EXPO KOREA 2026" in Seoul, Korea from May 6 to 8, 2026 (Booth : N07), showcasing its innovative Edge AI solutions. The highlight of this exhibition is the GPA7 series multimedia AI SoC, which features a built-in high-performance ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor and integrates the proprietary GPDLA (Generalplus Deep Learning Accelerator) to effectively enhance neural network computing performance. Accurately recognizing children’s speech is challenging because it differs from adult speech in many ways. A scarcity of available training data makes this problem even more difficult to solve. Over many years Sensory collected and analyzed significant amounts of children’s speech to better understand and model the specifics of how children talk. Initial testing on a corpus of spontaneous kid’s speech, reveals up to a 33% reduction in word error rate, when compared to an adult speech recognition model.
