General Description

GPCV6248A, a highly integrated SoC (System-On-a-Chip), offers a great cost-effective and high performance ratio solution for multimedia applications.  It is embedded the ARM7TDMI with 16K-byte unified ID-cache and many tremendous features such two dedicated JPEG CODEC, ISP for better image quality , SPI FLASH controller which CPU can run program directly on it, DDR controller, TFT-LCD interface, Rotator engine,  MIPI-TX DSI interface, CMOS sensor interface, MIPI RX interface with two data lanes, two UART interfaces which support smart card interface(ISO7816), 8-channel DMA controller, 6-channel 16-bit timers, RTC, two SD/MMC card interfaces, USB 2.0 host/device, interrupt controller, SPI (master/slave) controller, programmable I/O ports, mono 16-bit DAC with AMP for audio playback, 16-bit sigma-delta ADC with MIC and PGA, PLL, 2-ch 12-bit SAR ADC, power control macro and up to 247.5K-byte embedded SRAM.

With a complete set of common system peripherals, the GPCV6248A chip minimizes overall system cost and no additional component needs to be added.  Not only does GPCV6248A feature the high-speed performance, but it is also a cost-effective system and the most importantly - compatible with all ARM based programs.
