Generalplus Technology’s First Automotive-Grade MCU Passes AEC-Q100 Certification – Officially Enters Automotive Market

Leading microcontroller provider Generalplus Technology announced that its self-developed microcontroller GPM32F9010RLQ has passed the AEC-Q100 (Grade 1) automotive-grade certification. This marks the company’s first MCU to meet automotive electronics standards, officially entering the automotive electronics market. The certification highlights Generalplus Technology’s advanced capabilities in chip design, manufacturing quality, reliability testing, and quality control processes. It is also expected to accelerate the company’s product deployment in smart vehicle control systems and automotive-grade wireless charging, boosting future growth momentum.
Core Technologies, Specifications, and Application Highlights of GPM32F9010RLQ:
- AEC-Q100 Grade 1 Certified : Capable of withstanding extreme environments from -40°C to 125°C, meeting automotive electronics reliability requirements.
- High-Performance Processing Capabilities : Carries an MCU core running up to 152MHz, equipped with 128KB Flash and 32KB RAM, supporting real-time computing and control.
- Comprehensive Communication Interfaces : Integrates three I2C, three SPI, and five UART interfaces, enabling highly integrated internal and external communication in automotive systems.
- High-Speed 12-bit Dual ADC Design : Enables real-time processing of multiple sensor data sets, suitable for high-precision monitoring and control.
- Flexible Packaging and I/O Configuration : Uses LQFP-64 (10x10mm) packaging with up to 58 I/O pins, suitable for diverse application scenarios.
This chip can be widely applied in various automotive systems, including:
- In-vehicle wireless charging modules compatible with the latest Qi 2.0/Qi 2.2 standards.
- Smart cockpit applications such as electric seat control, wiper control, and window and door lock systems.

Generalplus Technology Reports 2025/Q1 Financial Results

Generalplus Technology Inc. (Taiex: 4952) today (5/7) held Board of Directors’ meeting and acknowledged its 2025/Q1 consolidated financial statements. Revenues and net income of 2025/Q1 were NT$526 million and NT$46 million, decreasing 3.2% and 24.9%, respectively from the same period of year 2024. Earnings per share of 2025/Q1 was NT$0.42, declining 25.0% from NT$0.56 of 2024/Q1, with gross profit ratio of 36.6%. The first quarter of 2025 was adversely affected by the prolonged downturn in the Chinese market and ongoing uncertainties related to U.S.-China trade tensions.
In terms of new product development, Generalplus Technology continues to deepen its presence in the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) field. With outstanding technical expertise and a flexible product portfolio, the company delivers highly integrated and efficient smart display solutions to the industry. Generalplus’ HMI solutions support a variety of mainstream development platforms, including LVGL and Qt, and also feature Generalplus’ self-developed G+GUI Designer. This enables developers to build intuitive and highly customized GUI interfaces in the shortest time, significantly reducing the time to market. These solutions have been successfully implemented in two-wheeled vehicle dashboards, home appliance displays, EV charging stations, industrial control systems, various consumer electronics products, etc., and have entered the supply chain of a major Chinese brand name company.

Generalplus Technology Reports Year 2024 Financial Results and Dividends Distribution

Generalplus Technology Inc. (Taiex: 4952) today held board of directors’ meeting and acknowledged its year 2024 consolidated financial statements. Revenues of year 2024 increased 13.6% to NT$2,462 million from NT$2,167 million of year 2023. Operating profits of year 2024 were NT$231 million, up 37.8% compared to NT$168 million of year 2023. Net income of year 2024 was NT$247 million, growing 47.0% from NT$168 million of year 2023. Earnings per share of year 2024 was NT$2.27, increasing 47.4% from earnings per share of NT$1.54 of year 2023.
Gross profit ratio, operating profit ratio and net profit ratio of year 2024 were 36.6%, 9.4% and 10.0%, respectively.
In year 2024, the global economy continued to be affected by high inflation in Europe and the United States, as well as the sluggish Chinese economy, leading to conservative consumer spending. However, thanks to effective inventory management and successful development of new products and customers, Generalplus has achieved revenue and profit growth despite the challenging market conditions.
Consolidated revenues of 2024/Q4 were NT$470 million, declining 5.6% year over year. Operating loss of 2024/Q4 was NT$690 thousand. Net income and earnings per share of 2024/Q4 were NT$6 million and NT$0.06, decreasing 62.0% and 57.1% respectively compared to the same period of last year.
The Board of Directors also resolved on distribution of NT$2.25 cash dividends per share for year 2024. This proposal will be discussed and resolved at the Company’s annual shareholders’ meeting scheduled on May 27, 2025.
